Why “It Will All Be Worth It” Is More Than a Mantra
Hi there,
The past few days have been transformative and it all started with a moment that could’ve been pulled from a Hollywood comedy.
It was 5 AM.
“I think my water broke,” Enkhi whispered as I was lacing up for the gym.
We were two weeks early, so we hesitated.
She went back to bed. I headed out the door.
Mid-cardio, I checked Dr. Google: “You should probably go to the hospital.”
Still, I thought, Let’s have breakfast first. It’ll be fine.
When I got back, our luggage was already packed by the door.
“Oh, f*ck,” I muttered.
“We should go,” she said, smiling.
Fast forward 40 hours.
After 50 minutes of powerful pushing, I was holding scissors to the umbilical cord.
In That Moment, I Knew “It Will All Be Worth It.”
I didn’t feel overwhelmed.
I felt present.
Not by accident, but by practice.
And in that stillness, this truth became crystal clear:
It will all be worth it.
No fear. No drama. Just deep presence, clarity, and commitment.
What Does “It Will All Be Worth It” Really Mean?
For me, it wasn’t about sacrifice.
It was about conscious choices every step of the way during pregnancy.
We didn’t give things up.
We chose better outcomes.
That moment in the delivery room didn’t just represent birth.
It represented everything we worked toward.
A new chapter.
A symbolic win.
And a powerful reminder that when you stay the course no matter how uncertain it will all be worth it.
Use This as Your Anchor When Life Gets Hard
If you’re at the edge of something new...
If you’re hesitating, doubting, delaying...
Let this be your reminder:
The discomfort, the waiting, the unknown, it’s not punishment.
It’s preparation.
You don’t need a child to feel reborn.
You just need a reason to commit.
Commit to Yourself , It Will All Be Worth It
So here’s the tool I use with clients:
Set one goal.
Commit to it for 90 days.
But first, write this down:
“It will all be worth it.”
That’s your anchor.
It’s not motivation , it’s integration.
Because the version of you who finishes the 90 days?
That’s the version who leads the next chapter of your life.
Victories Don’t Always Feel Loud , Sometimes They Feel Still
I didn’t cry when Kaia was born.
I didn’t shout.
I just stood there, holding a quiet truth:
This moment…
This growth…
This life...
It was all worth it.
And that’s a belief I’ll carry forward.
In parenting.
In coaching.
In every uncomfortable but worthwhile pursuit.
Final Reminder, Your Commitment Is Sacred
You don’t need clarity right now.
You need to act.
Because once you start?
The clarity follows.
And so does the resilience.
No matter how long it takes, it will all be worth it.
Your friend and coach,
Carlos
